People celebrating new year in Moradabad

On the night of 31 December and in celebration of the New Year, the city kept dancing and dancing throughout the night. The dancing and dancing amidst the colorful lights in the hotels stopped only with the dawn of the New Year. There was a festive atmosphere in the city throughout the night. The scene changed at 12 o’clock on Sunday night. Bidding farewell to the year 2023 and welcoming the year 2024.
Everyone said Happy New Year in unison as they danced to the tune of the DJ. During this, there were huge fireworks. We hugged our loved ones, cut the cake and started the New Year by congratulating them. The joy of welcoming the New Year was visible since the last evening of the year 2023.
The markets also remained lively till late night. Various hotels, restaurants, bars, clubs and banquet halls of the city kept resonating with the sound of DJ. The flow of people coming and going here continued till 12 o’clock in the night. The parties had started in the evening itself.
Amidst melodious songs, colorful lights and attractive decorations, people cut cakes and greeted each other with hugs. From children to youth and elders, a new wave of New Year was visible in the minds of everyone. Those who could not come here, left no stone unturned to make the New Year memorable in the colonies.
Apart from dancing on DJ, there was a lot of Jagran parties. Special arrangements for food were made. Children ate delicious dishes and danced with their family members, while youth who came in couples congratulated each other and enjoyed songs and music.
Most of the youth danced vigorously on New Year. During this period, a lot of messages were also sent on WhatsApp, Facebook, email and mobile. Those celebrating New Year at home congratulated their friends and acquaintances through mobile phones.
Sunday holiday doubled the enthusiasm
Due to 31st December being a Sunday holiday, people’s enthusiasm doubled. People were in the mood for the party since morning. Crowds of spectators also reached the cinema hall. They welcomed the New Year first by partying and then by watching a movie.

New Year 2024 was celebrated at Gaur Gracious, Aakash Residency, TDI, Aakash Homes Society in the city. People kept dancing to the music till late night. To welcome the New Year, parties started in the society from the night of 31st December. People came to celebrate with family and friends.
To celebrate the New Year in a memorable way, people in the societies also gave gifts to each other. Tambola and other entertaining games were organized in many societies. In the evening, along with bhajan kirtan on Khatu Shyam, people also danced on the DJ. Winter fashion was also seen in coats, warm boots and sequence dresses.
At some places people were seen taking selfies, while at others they were seen enjoying food with their families. Some even danced to live music. Celebrations started in the societies at 8 pm and as soon as the hands of the clock struck 12 midnight, shouts of Happy New Year echoed everywhere. People cut the cake and wished each other a Happy New Year.
Bhajan-Kirtan of Khatu Shyam on New Year
Bhajan Kirtan of Khatu Shyam was performed at Gaur Gracious Society from 8 pm on Sunday evening. During this time, people worshiped Khatu Shyam and prayed for happiness and prosperity for the family. After this, people touched the feet of their parents and took blessings. At 12 o’clock in the night, people started the New Year by greeting each other.
